Stakeholders welcome weekend fixtures

Before the introduction of the country's professional football league – Bangladesh League, which had later turned into Bangladesh Premier League – in 2007, the then high-ups of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) announced plans to hold the league matches every weekend on Friday and Saturday.
